INTRODUCTION
The Sustainability Management School of Switzerland, SUMAS and GSOBEE (Global School of Business, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship in Spain) are proud to announce its partnership for the launch of the European Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA).
Students worldwide will be able to take advantage of the knowledge, resources and programs developed by both institutions and their allies since 2005, to strengthen the skills of future EDBA graduates, in hybrid mode in Switzerland, Spain and numerous cities or totally online.

GSOBEE
Founded as a private Global Business School in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain; GSOBEE has available spaces in Madrid, Barcelona and Canary Islands, the accumulated experience and the know-how of highly qualified expert from more than 50 universities since 1996 and a network of allies in small, medium and large organizations in America and Europe.
GSOBEE focuses on guiding our doctoral students so that they are able to explore the local, regional or world reality, emphasizing the individual puzzle (theoretical, technical, empirical, practical and philosophical) that each researcher needs to “apprehend” and assemble, on the path to the generation of theory or innovation.
DOCTORATE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The EDBA is a three-year program that consists of six separate rate modules, to the development, completion, public defense and approval of the Doctoral Thesis.
Being comparable to other PhDs, our doctorate accepts transfer credit from similar programs (on a limited basis).
The EDBA follows European Space for Higher Education (ESHE) regulations and emphasizes the endeavor of generating innovations or new theoretical construct.

NATURE OF THE DOCTORAL DISSERTATION
The doctoral dissertation is the final outcome of the EDBA program.
It represents a decided contribution to an edge of knowledge, based on high-level, extensive and intensive research.
The investigation must be linked to a specific organization, company or project; local, national, regional or international; of public, private or mixed capital; in fields linked in an enunciative and non-restrictive way to legal, naval and social sciences; education, management, globalization, engineering, research, health sciences, psychology and technology. It must be transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary.
Sustainability must be a cross-cutting field for all areas.
The dissertation is guided by a professional mentor with the highest credentials.
APLICATION FOR ADMISSION
The aplicant is requested to provide the following information to the EDBA Admissions Committee:
♦ Full aplication form (online).
♦ Copy of passport. European citizens DNI or ID card.
♦ Copy of all academic transcripts including any doctoral level work. Titles and notes certified external to the EU must carry the Hague Apostille or equivalent certification.
♦ A 3000-4000 word letter of intent. The letter of intent should describe the current alingment of past academic studies and professional activities with the EDBA program. The same letter should also cover future career plans as well as an identified area of academic interest for the doctoral dissertation and the possible contribution to the generation of a new theoretical construct or to the generation of an innovation linked to a concrete reality. We will send you a “paper” to help you write it.
♦ Pay US$200 of application fee.
RESIDENCY AND TIME LIMITS
The newly admitted EDBA students have a term of two to five years to complete the doctorate. In the case of students who have been validated credits for doctoral studies, concluded or not, the minimum term could be reduced to one year.
